Because “idle hands are the devil’s playthings,” FirstBank and the Puerto Rico Museum of Art took it upon themselves to keep 20 students residing Martin Peña Channel neighborhood in Santurce quite busy for the better part of the summer embellishing one of the community’s main entrances.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is providing a $60,000 grant to ENLACE, an organization that serves communities along the Martin Peña Channel in San Juan to educate people about water quality in the canal and what can be done to reduce pollution.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Ponce School of Medicine and Health Services, or PSMHS, signed an ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ Monday to promote environmental and public health protection in Puerto Rico.
