As Puerto Rico finds itself in the midst of furthering its role in the knowledge economy on a large scale, the Puerto Rico Agricultural Biotechnology Industry Association (PRABIA) and the Mayagüez campus of the University of Puerto Rico signed Tuesday a collaboration agreement that will benefit the agronomists that graduate each year.
With 16 participating teams of innovators and entrepreneurs, the third edition of I-Corps Puerto Rico program kicked off this past weekend at the University of Puerto Rico’s Mayagüez campus.
Perea Hospital, located in the municipality of Mayagüez, is embarking on an aggressive growth plan that entails the investment of $19.5 million for the construction of infrastructure, acquisition of new equipment and the remodeling of existing structures.
