The Puerto Rico Telecommunications Regulatory Board will sign off on a resolution and order next week approving the proposed $585 million deal through which Liberty Cable would acquire the assets of San Juan’s cable provider, OneLink Communications, News is my Business confirmed.
OneLink Communications announced that effective Sept. 4 it will be offering 53 additional HD channels, bumping up its portfolio to 78 stations to which customers in San Juan can sign up for.
Puerto Rico Telephone, which does business as Claro Puerto Rico, has drawn the line in the sand with regards to Liberty Puerto Rico’s proposed acquisition of OneLink Communications, asking the Telecommunications Regulatory Board for transparency in the process.
