Wireless carrier Open Mobile has hired a new chief executive officer, Juan Saca, to lead its Puerto Rico operations. Saca, a seasoned telecommunications industry executive, has been quietly at the helm of the pre-paid carrier since June, News is my Business learned.

Open Mobile ‘not worried’ about S&P’s credit outlook revision

Saying Open Mobile’s parent company, P.R. Wireless, has “less than adequate” liquidity, credit ratings agency Standard & Poor’s revised its outlook on the wireless carrier to negative from stable and affirmed its ratings, including the 'B' corporate credit rating.
