Gov. Alejandro García-Padilla signed an executive order Wednesday establishing a nine-member construction industry advisory board, at the behest of the sector, which seeks to work with the government to improve conditions to do business in Puerto Rico.
I believe we’ve wasted our time trying to classify the unclassifiable. At least in this island. The government sector tries to establish margins, limits and a string of definitions on a sector that does not necessarily look like, or identify with, those efforts.
The Puerto Rico Planning Board gave the go-ahead to more than $3.1 billion in location permits for residential and tourism-related development projects that are expected to generate more than 35,000 jobs and boost the economy, agency chief Rubén Flores- Marzán said Monday.
