In the months leading up to the Nov. 6 elections, when Puerto Rico residents will decide this year’s heated race, Google searches on all matters related to the democratic process have been increasing by as much as 30 percent per week.
While saying Puerto Rico is not “America’s Greece,” a senior analyst with Wells Fargo Securities said the time has come for the island to implement drastic change or risk facing an even bigger economic collapse.
It really, really unnerves me whenever a journalist or talk show host — especially on the radio — while criticizing or making fun of a politician’s discourse, event or photograph in the news media, almost always identifies the action as a “public relations gimmick” or “public relations stunt.”
