Looking to strengthen small businesses growth in Puerto Rico, the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce and the U.S. Small Business Administration have partnered to exchange information and support resources in favor of the sector.
The Pontifical University in Ponce and Adjuntas-based nonprofit Casa Pueblo recently struck a partnership that pursues implementing economic development, agricultural, educational and cultural projects in central Puerto Rico through the exchange of ideas, services, resources and research techniques.
The Cuban government’s recent economic reforms and the growth and development opportunities they represent for the island's future will be the topic of a conference to be hosted by the Pontifical Catholic University in Ponce, entitled “Cuba Today and Tomorrow: Economic Conditions and Trends.”
