Assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is available to help individuals and families affected by Hurricanes Irma and María take care of necessary expenses and serious needs that are not covered by insurance or other forms of assistance.
The Economic Development Bank for Puerto Rico has granted $230,000 in credit lines to local companies M&B Steel and Vernet, which will allow them to continue operating and grow in the midst of the crisis brought on by Hurricane María, agency President Luis Burdiel-Agudo said.
Tabuchi America, a residential hybrid solar-plus-storage manufacturer, announced the company is donating their Eco Intelligent Battery System (EIBS) to various organizations in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands impacted by the hurricanes Irma, José and María.
