The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico issued a request for proposals (“RFP”) from parties interested to be retained as an independent investigation team to probe Puerto Rico’s debt and its connection to the current fiscal crisis.
The United Group of Automobile Importers, known as GUIA for its initials in Spanish, announced there were 6,947 new cars sold in Puerto Rico last month, representing a 2.9 percent increase from the same month last year, and a 4.6 percent jump over June’s results.
The Department of Consumer Affairs issued Wednesday about 14 infringement notices to auto dealers selling vehicles without the Monroney Label, required by local and federal laws to provide information to potential car buyers.
