Grupo Guayacán Inc. (GGI) kicked off SPRINGBOARD this weekend, its newest entrepreneurial development offering and the first program in Puerto Rico geared at preparing local start-ups to raise early stage capital in order to grow their ventures, the seed funding firm confirmed.
Oak Leaf Solar X LLC, a Yarotek entity, has installed 2,444 solar panels at Liberty Puerto Rico’s facility in Luquillo, making the provider’s operations more sustainable and “reaffirming the companies’ respective commitments to Puerto Rico and the environment,” the company announced Monday.
In a letter sent to Sen. Orrin Hatch, who chairs the Congressional Task Force on Economic Growth in Puerto Rico, independent advisory firm Consultiva Internacional presented specific recommendations for economic development that focus on the empowerment of local businesses and leveraging Puerto Rico’s competitiveness in key industries.
