REMAG, a program that rewards consumers with coupons when they recycle their newspapers, helps the community, promotes local economic development, and helps save the planet, launched its distinctive green and white kiosks in 24 supermarkets across Puerto Rico Monday.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport officials, along with partners Hugo Neu Environmental, announced Tuesday the launching of “Green Airport, an initiative that promotes public awareness of the importance of recycling in Puerto Rico.
The winners of the first art contest using recycled materials sponsored jointly by FirstBank — through its “Uno con el Ambiente” environmental program — and Fundación Proyecto La Línea de mi Pensamiento, were recently honored in a ceremony showcasing the submitted works.
