With 15 participating teams of innovators and entrepreneurs, Grupo Guayacán and the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust launched the fourth edition of I-Corps Puerto Rico at the latter’s headquarters this weekend.
Puerto Rico’s scientific, technological and entrepreneurial communities will have the opportunity to advance their potential as engines of economic development during an unprecedented event on the island, the Forward Summit, to be held on Sept. 17, at the Sheraton Convention Center.
The research for new diagnostic methods and therapy for endometriosis, the development of genetic tools to assist in the preservation of the bees and new methods to mitigate problems of coastal erosion are some of the projects of the new group of Grantees of the Science & Technology Grants Program, of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust.
