The introduction of organic milk into the Puerto Rico market, stalled while the slow regulatory process runs its course, will help rather than hurt the local milk industry currently in a state of crisis due to excess production and declining sales, said SuperMax officials eager to add this product on supermarket shelves at the request of cancer patients.
Just months after the Boar's Head brand debuted in its Plaza Guaynabo store, the SuperMax supermarket chain announced that its deli department at the De Diego Avenue store, will also offer the line of premium cheeses and cold cuts. The Condado store will feature more than 300 Boar's Head products.
Retailer SuperMax recently launched its “Pon SuperMax” delivery program, testing the service out at its De Diego and Isla Verde locations. The service could benefit clients who depend on the metropolitan area bus service, which is on strike this week.
