Toyota de Puerto Rico Corp. kicked off 2014 with a new president. With more than 30 years of industry experience, 25 of them within Toyota, George Christoff will direct the operations and performance of the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands in Puerto Rico, as well as the duties performed by Toyota Foundation and Lexus with the Arts, the company announced Thursday.
Prototypes, hybrid and futuristic cars, as well as other automotive novelties will be on display through Nov. 3 in Plaza Las Américas during the 15th edition of the Puerto Rico International Auto Show, which officially kicked off Monday.
Car sales in Puerto Rico have shown no significant change from month to month so far this year, as figures for the first seven months of the year have not changed significantly from one month to the next, the United Automobile Importers Group (known as GUIA for its initials in Spanish) said.
