In keeping with its commitment to support local industry, Walmart Puerto Rico announced Monday an agreement whereby it will buy 100 percent of the Ultra High Temperature milk it sells on the island from Industrias Lecheras de Puerto Rico.
Joined by a contingent of municipal and central government officials, Walmart Puerto Rico announced Tuesday the construction of its future $31 million Supercenter store in Toa Baja, expected to open at the end of this year.
Hogar Teresa Toda, a nonprofit organization that provides shelter and services to girls aged six to 17, is getting a $10,000 grant from retailer Walmart, which made the announcement as part of its "12 Days of Giving" Facebook campaign.
