Wendy’s backs youth education with fundraiser at Bad Bunny’s residency

Wendy’s Puerto Rico has launched a culturally themed campaign tied to Bad Bunny’s La Residencia concert series at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, using the platform to support educational programs led by Fundación Rimas.

The campaign includes a 360-degree fan zone with a food truck serving the limited-time Tripleta BB — Bien Boricua sandwich made with local beef, a prize station and branded photo booths.

Lizmarie Medina, chief marketing officer at Grupo Colón Gerena, said the effort goes beyond sponsorship, forming a partnership with Fundación Rimas to support music, sports and arts education for youth in underserved communities.

Inside the venue, fans can visit Wendy’s-branded photo booths in sections 108 and 201. Proceeds from each photo will be matched by Wendy’s and donated to Fundación Rimas.

The booths will remain through all 30 concert nights, and Medina said more phases of the collaboration will be announced after the series ends.

Outside the venue, Wendy’s is offering free Frosty giveaways and a post-concert menu featuring the Tripleta BB sandwich, which includes Coamo-sourced beef, pernil, bacon, melted cheese, crispy potatoes and garlic mayo ketchup on brioche bread.

“This is not just sponsorship,” Medina said. “It’s a reflection of our values — supporting our culture, our people and the local economy.”
