Access All Services earns B Corp certification for sustainability efforts
Access All Services (AAS), a Puerto Rico-based communications and marketing consulting firm, has earned certification as a B Corporation, joining a global network of companies recognized for their social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
The firm, founded in 2016 by communications strategist and public relations professional Maricelis Rivera-Santos, becomes one of the few Puerto Rican companies to earn the designation. B Corp certification evaluates businesses in five key areas: workers, community, customers, environment and governance.
“Belonging to this global network of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental impact is one of the most significant achievements in our history as a company,” Rivera-Santos said. “However, this isn’t all. As required by B Corp certification, striving for continuous improvement is and will continue to be our goal.”
Access All Services is part of a cohort of Puerto Rican businesses supported by the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust through its Research Innovations Meetups program, which seeks to expand the B Corp community on the island.
The firm operates with a team of up to 12 professionals.
“All of this is possible thanks to the support of the wonderful people who make up our team and those who were there before,” Rivera-Santos said.
AAS has also joined the United Nations Global Compact and organized the Puerto Rico Environmental Emergencies and Sustainability Summit. Its services range from media relations and brand reputation to strategic planning and customer satisfaction management, serving corporate, nonprofit and individual clients in Puerto Rico and the United States.
