Luxury real estate listings broker Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC is entering the Puerto Rico market looking to draw affluent buyers looking for properties in a setting that combines “weather, infrastructure, political and economical stability.”
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $46 million to Puerto Rico to help finance improvements to water projects that are essential to protecting public health and the environment. The funds will primarily be used to upgrade sewage plants and drinking water systems throughout the island.
Puerto Rico consumers drove 8,300 cars off dealership lots in September, representing a 9.5 percent increase, or 718 additional units, in comparison to the same month last year, when 7,582 units were sold, the United Automobile Importers Group known as GUIA announced Tuesday.
