Bravada Vodka named global ‘Brand of the Year’ for 2025
Bravada Vodka has been named “Vodka Brand of the Year” at the 2025 Spirits Business Awards in London, becoming the first vodka produced in Puerto Rico to receive the designation.
The recognition comes less than four years after the brand’s launch and follows increased market adoption and a campaign approach centered on cultural identity, company officials said.
Judges cited Bravada’s rapid growth and consistency in branding and product development.
“From day one, Bravada was conceived as a brand that represents all of us,” said Imaris Arocho, chief marketing officer. “This recognition validates a culturally relevant strategy built on emotion and purpose, along with a truly great product. It is an honor to represent Puerto Rico on this global platform and to win.”
José Williams, director of partnerships and expansion, said the company’s growth reflects support from collaborators.
“Bravada can unite and showcase Puerto Rico’s creative potential. This award belongs to everyone who has believed in that vision,” he said.
Williams credited collaborators Cristina García and Esteban Ruiz of Sips+Bites with helping define the brand’s identity.
The company’s #LaDeAquí and #EstoPasaAquí campaigns have promoted Bravada as a Puerto Rican-made product. The award was presented in London before an audience of more than 350 representatives from the global spirits industry, including distributors, importers and trade media.
Bravada is produced and bottled in Toa Baja, where the company says its facility can manufacture more than 600,000 bottles per year.
The honor comes as Bravada introduces a new 50-milliliter format, called “Small but Brave,” which officials described as aimed at expanding reach and visibility in local markets.
