Carwiz Rent a Car enters Puerto Rico market with new franchisee
Croatian car rental company Carwiz Rent a Car has entered the Puerto Rican market through a new franchise agreement with Go Rent a Car LLC.
Founded in 2017, Carwiz grew from three corporate locations to an international franchise network now spanning more than 450 outlets in 57 countries. Its Puerto Rico launch marks another step in its global expansion, offering “premium, but affordable” rental service with unlimited mileage and upfront pricing.

To operate in Puerto Rico, Carwiz partnered with local franchisee Go Rent a Car LLC — a family-run business operating as Go Rental Puerto Rico on Isla Verde Avenue in Carolina. Under the agreement, Carwiz will provide brand support, IT infrastructure, training and operational systems, as it does for other international partners.
The Puerto Rico launch follows Carwiz’s recent expansion to Tampa International Airport.
