Casa Sin Fronteras launches Emprende Academy

Casa Sin Fronteras has launched the Emprende Academy, a program designed to help young adults in Puerto Rico start and sustain their own businesses while addressing emotional well-being.
Targeted to people ages 17 to 35, the program offers free business training along with mental health and career counseling workshops to help participants manage the challenges of entrepreneurship.
Through Dec. 13, participants will attend 10 in-person workshops on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Casa Sin Fronteras’ facilities in Arecibo. The sessions, taught by professionals in business, psychology and career guidance, are designed to provide tools for creating microenterprises.
“This innovative project combines business knowledge with emotional resilience, so participants can face the ups and downs of entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico,” the organization said.
Now in its third edition, Emprende Academy has served 45 young people, many of whom have launched ventures in restaurants, jewelry, baking, real estate, adaptive swimming and graphic design.
Registration is available through Google Forms, with limited spaces offered on a first-come basis. Interested individuals may also contact Casa Sin Fronteras by email, phone or its Facebook and Instagram pages.
