Telecommuncations company Claro Puerto Rico and the St. Regis Bahía Beach Resort and Golf Club announced an agreement by which the former will provide the residents of Bahía Beach its television and fiber optic broadband services with speeds of up to 150 Megas for Internet service.
The Puerto Rico Minority Business Development Agency Center, a nonprofit run by the Puerto Rico Products Association, received funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce to establish a technical assistance program to help minority companies join the aerospace industry supply chain.
The Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico recently signed an agreement with MAPFRE Foundation through which the global insurance company will provide an annual scholarship for post-graduate studies in Spain and five annual scholarships for students specializing in e-learning studies focusing on insurance.
