FirstBank Puerto Rico volunteers recently came together with residents from the Antonsanti, Belisa, Caribe and Villa Canales neighborhoods in Río Piedras, to participate in the “Arboretum” urban forestry planting project. The initiative falls under the bank’s “One with the Environment” program.
The Made in Puerto Rico Educational Institute of the Puerto Rico Products Association will offer a seminar titled “Impact of the changes to Puerto Rico’s tax system on your business,” which aims to provide guidance on the recently enacted changes to the island’s tax code and their impact on local companies.
Texas-born fast casual chain Fuddruckers announced Thursday it has bestowed the company’s first Certified Training Designation distinction to the Caguas location, led by franchisee Max Olivera, and vice president of Áperations, Carlos Alvarez, of Puerto Rico-based Caribbean Investment Group Corp., which operates five restaurants throughout the island in addition to two other locations.
