Under the slogan "We’re all entrepreneurs," 125 young people between the ages of 18 and 22, were sworn-in as members of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce through its College Chapters committee, in an activity held in San Juan that seeks to develop an entrepreneurial attitude for the island’s economic well-being and social development.
The University of Puerto Rico’s Cayey campus, one of the island’s top universities specializing in the areas of science and entrepreneurship, has become home to one of the most important agricultural markets of the island, integrating lessons in health and economic development.
The Puerto Rico Minority Business Development Agency recently bestowed its “Capital Access” award to the Economic Development Bank for the various programs the agency has developed to meet the financial needs of many sectors of the island’s economy.
