Coliseo de Puerto Rico hits $91M in 2025 ticket sales
The Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot closed 2025 with $91.2 million in ticket sales, placing it among the world’s top-performing arenas, according to Billboard’s annual rankings. The venue sold 1,098,242 tickets during the year and recorded total attendance of 1,162,225 across 100 events.
The Puerto Rico Convention District Authority and Legends Global said Billboard ranked the arena seventh worldwide in attendance and fourth among U.S. venues. It also placed 17th globally in revenue and tickets sold among arenas with capacities exceeding 15,000 seats.
A major driver of the year’s performance was a 31-show residency by Benito Antonio Martínez-Ocasio, known professionally as Bad Bunny, held between July and September. The sold-out concert series contributed to food and beverage revenue of $26.5 million, with per capita spending averaging $22.10, according to arena management.
Management attributed the results to sustained demand for live entertainment and a slate of high-profile events.
“The extraordinary results of 2025 reaffirm the starring role of the Coliseo de Puerto Rico within the global entertainment industry,” said Arelis Castro-Yambó, interim general manager of the venue.
“Being recognized by Billboard among the top seven venues in the world in attendance reinforces our commitment to operational excellence, innovation and the unforgettable experiences we offer to our fans, producers and artists,” she said.
PRCDA Executive Director Veronica Ferraiuoli said the rankings reflect Puerto Rico’s growing profile as a destination for large-scale entertainment events.
“Closing 2025 among the top venues in the world confirms that the Coliseo de Puerto Rico operates at a level that transcends markets and seasons,” Ferraiuoli said.
“This performance reflects a strong operational foundation, strategic programming and the island’s capacity to sustain large-scale events that generate economic impact, attract visitors and position Puerto Rico as a competitive destination within the global entertainment industry,” she added.
