DoubleTree San Juan unveils cultural stay with salsa, cocktails, and art

The package — billed as “Unforgettable night with dancing and a stay” — features curated cultural experiences for both visitors and locals.

DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan has launched a new package combining lodging with curated cultural experiences, inspired by the rise in visitor interest driven by Puerto Rico’s growing art scene.

Marketed under the slogan “Unforgettable night with dancing and a stay,” the offering targets both tourists and residents with activities highlighting local music, art and food.

“Beyond just staying at our hotel, at DoubleTree, we want you to fully experience what our island has to offer,” said Yodil Cabán-González, general manager. “That’s why we’ve redesigned our facilities to reflect the essence of Puerto Rico, with local art, cultural highlights and special programming that celebrates this vibrant season for the city.”

The package includes a welcome cocktail, guided tours linking Condado and Miramar, salsa lessons at Arthur Murray Puerto Rico, and access to a private beach club. Arthur Murray is known as the site where performer Bad Bunny filmed the video for “BAILE INoLVIDABLE.”

Signature drinks created for the experience include the CAFé + RoN, SUíTe 75, PR FLoW. MuLE and BAd JoHNNiE, made with local ingredients such as coconut, passion fruit and Barrilito rum.

“We want both locals and tourists to experience our rhythms, our joy and our culture,” said Denise Hill-Lugo, owner of Arthur Murray Puerto Rico.

The 184-room DoubleTree hotel, located near Loíza Street and the Puerto Rico Museum of Art, also features a spa, restaurants and an art gallery displaying the work of Puerto Rican photographer Babby Quiñones.
