Fransglobal Charity Foundation joins Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico for fundraiser
The Fransglobal Charity Foundation, the philanthropic branch of Fransglobal Corp., has announced its partnership with the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico to mark World Autism Awareness Month.
During April, the foundation will fundraise for the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico at Taco Maker, Arby’s and Marco’s Pizza locations throughout the island. Patrons can make donations at the restaurants or via the foundation’s website, specifying that their donation benefits the Alliance.
“At Fransglobal Charity Foundation, we’re committed to supporting nonprofit organizations so that they can continue their important work through the diversity of services they offer,” said Rebecca González-Ouslán, executive director of Fransglobal Charity Foundation.
“Autism is a condition that affects tens of thousands of families in Puerto Rico, and we’re honored to join the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico in their fight to improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families,” she said.
Since its inception in 2004, the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico has advocated for the island’s autistic community, aiding more than 70,000 people. Autism is identified as the most rapidly expanding developmental disorder globally, affecting one in 36 individuals, according to the organization.
“We’re very grateful for the support of the Fransglobal Charity Foundation,” said Joyce M. Dávila-Paz, director of the Autism Alliance of Puerto Rico. “These funds will allow us to continue providing essential services to families affected by autism in Puerto Rico, such as the METAA project for adults and teens, support for families in times of crisis, and family orientation activities.”
