AT&T grants $28K to USVI nonprofit to promote STEM

For the second consecutive year, AT&T is awarding $28,000 to the Community Foundation of the U.S. Virgin Islands to provide local teacher grants in the 2016-2017 school year to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education throughout the territory.

P.R. accepted into White House ‘TechHire’ program

Puerto Rico has been announced as one of 19 TechHire communities dedicated to creating pathways for more U.S. citizens to access well-paying tech jobs and expanding local tech sectors in communities across the country, the White House announced Thursday.
