Paulson & Co. Inc., a New York-based investment firm, announced Monday that on behalf of its Recovery Funds it has acquired a majority interest in The St. Regis Bahía Beach Resort, Puerto Rico and the Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club.
No one knows when or how it will happen, but it when it does, U.S.-based companies that do tech commerce in the Caribbean will be ready.
INTERPHEX Puerto Rico, together with Medical Device Puerto Rico and Buildings & Facilities Puerto Rico 2013, will present a robust educational program featuring industry experts who have led innovative global initiatives in areas such as sustainability and security to reduce manufacturing costs, optimize the supply chain, and maximize human resources. The event will take place Oct. 10-11 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
