Pattern Energy locks in $250M financing for Santa Isabel wind farm project

Less than a month after securing permits from the Puerto Rico Planning Board, San Francisco-based Pattern Energy Group LP announced Thursday it has secured financing for its $250 million wind energy farm planned for Santa Isabel.

Walmart’s Humacao store undergoing $11M expansion

Walmart Puerto Rico is investing $11 million to add 30,000 square feet of new space to the Humacao store that anchors the eastern town’s Plaza Palma Real mall, company officials confirmed Wednesday. The remodeled store will be re-inaugurated Dec. 8.

Puerto Rican NBA players José Juan Barea and Carlos Arroyo are once again taking center court in T-Mobile’s latest advertising campaign launched Wednesday along with the arrival of the carrier’s two newest 4G-enabled smartphones, the HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II.
