Seaborne starts San Juan-Santo Domingo route

Seaborne is expanding its reach in the Dominican Republic.

Seaborne is expanding its reach in the Dominican Republic.

Seaborne Airlines launched its non-stop daily service from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan to Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo on April 15th.

Now business or pleasure travel to Dominican Republic is a breeze with the launch of this new route. Santo Domingo is Seaborne’s fourth destination within the Dominican Republic, the others being La Romana, Punta Cana, and Santiago. Fares start as low as $99 one-way taxes and fees included. Flights can be reserved via SeaborneAirlines.com, Expedia, Travelocity or through a local travel agency.

“San Juan to Santo Domingo provides another access point to the U.S. market and reinforces the importance of Puerto Rico as a connecting point in the Caribbean,” said Gary D. Foss, president of Sea Star Holdings, parent company of Seaborne.

“And the teaming local market between Puerto Rico’s capital and that of the Dominican Republic will benefit from the added service offering,” he said.

With service to 18 airports throughout the Caribbean, Seaborne is one of the region’s fastest-growing carriers.
