SER Puerto Rico boosts neonatal care program with Paulson’s support

As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, SER de Puerto Rico received a commemorative plaque from Paulson Puerto Rico and The Condado Collection in recognition of their joint support for the organization’s neonatal care program.
Paulson Puerto Rico President Rolando Padua and Ben Tutt, managing partner at the Condado Collection, presented the plaque during a visit to SER’s facilities, highlighting their collaboration on the Old San Juan Sweet Cause Village initiative.
The holiday fundraiser featured a gingerbread replica of Old San Juan on display at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. Businesses such as La Concha Resort, MCS, Claro, Walmart and Laboratorio Clínico Toledo adopted individual houses in the display.
Funds from the adoptions were used to support SER’s specialized services for premature babies, those with low birth weight or congenital conditions.
“This plaque reflects the joint effort and united will that made this project a reality,” the organization said in a statement.
Padua and Tutt acknowledged SER’s role in providing educational, medical and rehabilitation services for children and adults with disabilities.
The plaque is now permanently displayed at SER’s facility as a symbol of the partnership between the nonprofit and private-sector supporters working to expand critical health care services in Puerto Rico.
