The massive blizzard that is clobbering the northeastern United States crippled air travel between Puerto Rico and that part of the mainland Monday, when 27 inbound and outbound flights at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport were grounded by mid-afternoon.
American Airlines and US Airways are expanding their codeshare to provide customers access to nearly 6,500 daily flights to more than 275 destinations in the combined global network. These additional codeshare flights are now available for booking, for travel starting today.
American Airlines and US Airways announced Monday they will be offering customers improved access to the combined company's global network through the first phase of a codeshare agreement through which passengers can book flights on both airlines' networks through the codeshare for travel starting Jan. 23.
