The Puerto Rico Consortium for Clinical Investigation (PRCCI) recently hosted the First Patient Advocacy Group Symposium in Puerto Rico to bring together various patient advocacy groups, patients, investigators and other individuals interested in finding innovative and joint solutions to improve the lives of Puerto Rican patients.
The Puerto Rico Consortium for Clinical Investigation (PRCCI), an initiative created and promoted by the Puerto Rico Trust for Science, Technology and Research, marks the first year of operations this month, executives announced Wednesday.
Salvador Alemany, president of Spanish infrastructure firm abertis, which is partner in the consortium that operates one of Puerto Rico’s busiest highways, was on the island Thursday participating in a series of meetings, including a brief encounter with Gov. Alejandro García-Padilla.
