The Retail Trade Association and the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, together with the Department of Consumer Affairs, have joined forces.
A little more than 1 million Puerto Rico residents could potentially be affected by the cybersecurity breach unveiled by credit information firm Equifax late last week, Consumer Affairs Secretary Michael Pierluisi said.
The Department of Consumer Affairs issued Wednesday about 14 infringement notices to auto dealers selling vehicles without the Monroney Label, required by local and federal laws to provide information to potential car buyers.
