Grupo Guayacán Inc. (GGI) will offer the upcoming third edition of its I-Corps Puerto Rico program at the University of Puerto Rico’s Mayagüez Campus, marking the first time that the program is offered outside of the San Juan metropolitan area and directly on a university campus, organizers said.
Grupo Guayacán, a nonprofit with more than 10 years of experience in entrepreneurial development programs, on Tuesday gathered more than 500 students to encourage careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and entrepreneurship as part of the kickoff of a new educational initiative aimed at high school students.
