In his first presentation as the new head of Puerto Rico Trade and Export, Ricardo Llerandi on Thursday outlined the agency’s plans to “promote, encourage and facilitate the development of the local business class.”
Members of the Empresarios por Puerto Rico trade group met Monday with Gov. Ricardo Rosselló to help identify measures to promote economic development focused on sustainability and in which priority is given to local businesses and eliminating barriers affecting competitiveness.
With 15 participating teams of innovators and entrepreneurs, Grupo Guayacán and the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust launched the fourth edition of I-Corps Puerto Rico at the latter’s headquarters this weekend.
