Doral Bank, through its Fondo Doral initiative, announced Monday a $20,000 donation to Foundation for Puerto Rico to contribute to the development of the Kiva Zip Puerto Rico microloan platform.
Putnam Bridge Funding recently donated $950,000 to Foundation for Puerto Rico to pave the way for the construction of a collaborative space in Santurce, to accommodate several nonprofit organizations whose mission is to boost socioeconomic development.
The Foundation for Puerto Rico has designed a new model of shared spaces to be developed in La Ciudadela following the signing of a 10-year lease agreement between Foundation Founder Jon Borschow and Nicholas Prouty, CEO of Putman Bridge Funding, LLC., which owns the Santurce complex that will house the venture.
