Javier Rúa-Jovet, the former chairman of Puerto Rico’s Telecommunications Regulatory Board, and currently a private attorney in the renewable energy and ICT fields, was ratified for a second term by the ICANN.
Puerto Rico is getting ready to host its first major convention since the passage of Hurricane María last year, when on Mar. 10-15 the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers will hold its 61st international community forum at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers board has approved Puerto Rico as the location in North America to host ICANN's 61st public meeting to be held Mar. 10-15, 2018.
