A group of 37 students from public high schools in Gurabo and Manatí completed the first “Bridge to Employment” Program in Puerto Rico sponsored by Janssen LLC, as part of its Early Talent Strategy to engage millennials with the life sciences manufacturing sector, the company announced Wednesday.
The reorganization process of Puerto Rico’s public finances has a direct impact on local nonprofit organizations, especially those to which the government owed money at the time the petition was filed in court earlier this month, according to members of the “Movimiento Una Sola Voz” and the Foundations Network.
DDR Puerto Rico is inviting nonprofit organizations to join its Community Day event as a part of the “Juntos por tu Comunidad” (“Together for your community”) program.
