Banco Santander Puerto Rico, through its Santander Universidades global division, is banking on the creativity and entrepreneurial ingenuity of students from the island’s academic institutions for the third edition of the Santander Award for Business Innovation.
Banco Santander, armed with the support from the government and members of the academic community, announced Tuesday the launching of the second edition of its U-Work internship program, which this year will benefit 354 college juniors and seniors with real-world work experience.
While many Puerto Rico residents will kick off a four-day weekend today, commercial banks will be observing the July 25th Constitution Day celebration and Saturday’s José Celso Barbosa holiday with special hours.
