In less than 90 days, Puerto Rico will become the official home to one of the most high-end shopping centers in the Caribbean, with the opening of the Mall of San Juan and its long list of luxury retailers.
Telecommunications provider Claro and San Patricio Plaza executives announced Thursday that the carrier will be offering free Wi-Fi access to the mall’s food court patrons, who will be able to connect through any mobile device — smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Puerto Rico’s retail sales reflected a slight 1.7 percent jump year-over-year in June, when economic activity exceeded $3.1 billion, according to data released by Puerto Rico Trade and Export Wednesday.
