Puerto Rico Trade and Exports and student organization AIESEC have signed a cooperation agreement to develop the incursion of Puerto Rican companies in international markets.
Information technology firm Columbus Business Solutions has teamed up with the Polytechnic University to provide scholarships to engineering or computer science students, to help them cover their tuition fees and offer internships to help them get real work experience.
The Universidad Central del Caribe was recently selected to receive a grant from the National Institute of Health for its Specialized Neuroscience Research Program of $1.4 million for each of the next three years, with the possibility of extending the financial assistance to five years, the school announced this week.
