With an investment of $38 million and the creation of 256 new jobs, Walmart inaugurated Wednesday a new Supercenter in Hatillo, through which it hopes to positively impact the commercial activity of the island’s northwest area and economic development as a whole.
Walmart Supercenter Santurce opens its doors to the public at 6 a.m. today and the company expects between 10,000 and 12,000 visitors on its first day of business.
With an investment of more than $31 million — and the creation of 500 new jobs — Walmart Puerto Rico this week celebrated the opening of its new Supercenter in the town of Toa Baja.
