The Puerto Rico Tourism Company announced that the city of San Juan has received a Top Destinations Caribbean as part of the 2013 Travelers’ Choice Destinations award given by prestigious travelers site TripAdvisor. The category lists the 10 top destinations in the Caribbean.
Wyndham Garden Hotel & Casino at Palmas del Mar announced Wednesday it has received a TripAdvisor “Certificate of Excellence” award. The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
The Combate Beach Resort in Cabo Rojo has been awarded a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor under the “bed & breakfast & inns” category, hotel officials announced Wednesday.
