Sprint announced today it has improved 3G service in Puerto Rico and also expanded 4G LTE service to more customers – launching its faster data network in Aguadilla, Isabela, Cabo Rojo and Mayagüez.
There was never a dull moment for Puerto Rico’s telecommunications and technology sectors, which have been seemingly unscathed by the island’s economic woes. Companies continued to invest aggressively in their networks throughout 2012 to launch new next-generation products and services.
Wireless carrier Sprint announced Tuesday that it is delivering the speed, power and value of its all-new 4G LTE network to customers in six new areas in the U.S. mainland and Puerto Rico, where residents and users in Ponce, Coamo and Guayama will begin benefiting from faster speeds.
