Coffee & Chocolate Expo returns to Puerto Rico Convention Center

The 13th Coffee & Chocolate Expo, Puerto Rico’s largest event for coffee and chocolate enthusiasts, is slated for April 20-21 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, promising an extensive array of products.
“We want the whole family to have the opportunity to discover, learn and support the wide variety of exhibitors, showcasing coffee, chocolate, teas, cookies, breads, desserts and complementary products that will join us for two days filled with flavor,” Pedro Fernández from CUBE Group Events. He also highlighted the introduction of the expo’s renewed educational component, the Coffee & Chocolate Academy.
The event will offer educational workshops on various topics, such as opening a coffee shop, pairing chocolate with spirits, and crafting your own chocolate bar, led by local experts.
Emphasizing entrepreneurship in the local coffee scene, Fernández explained that the workshop “How to Establish a Coffee Shop” will provide essential steps for starting a coffee business.
“We’ll address key operational areas such as marketing, administration, finance and human resources management. Attendees can also participate in a forum led by executives from Banco Popular and Tres Monjitas, who will share their experiences and offer professional advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.”
“It’s also about bringing them a firsthand experience with some of the challenges they will encounter when deciding to establish their own coffee shop on the island,” Fernández added.
The expo serves as a platform for local and global brands to showcase new products and innovation.
In line with tradition, attendees will cast votes for the People’s Choice Award, selecting their preferred coffee and chocolate, with winners announced at the expo’s conclusion.
This year’s expo introduces two new categories for judging, best new products and the audience’s favorite product.
