The fourth edition of the Puerto Rico Restaurant Week event, slated to take place May 27-June 3 will feature 25 local eateries that will offer pre-fixe dinner menus for $28 or $38, with options for the appetizer, entrée and dessert. Several restaurants will also offer pre-fixe lunch menus for $20, organizers said Tuesday.

“Puerto Rico Restaurant Week provides locals and tourists an unbeatable opportunity to visit a different restaurant every day and explore the Island’s varied culinary scene at special prices,” said Paulina Salach, co-founder of the event.

The event promotes sustainability and the local food industry, while supporting the economy of the island, she said.

“For the third consecutive year, we’ve encouraged chefs to incorporate local and fresh ingredients into their dishes, working toward food sustainability in Puerto Rico,” mentioned Gustavo Antonetti, event co-founder.
