Popular Inc. announced Monday the launch of its news Twitter account, @BPOPComm and a revamped online newsroom to which media and the general public will have complete access to obtain information about the financial institution.
The newsroom is designed to provide newsworthy content to its visitors and followers, the financial institution said.
“These tools will facilitate the content search to our publics. We are aware that all of the publics we serve are connected to social media and technology more and more each day,” said Teruca Rullán, senior vice president of Corporate Communications of Popular Inc. “Both platforms will allow us to provide content they need in real time.”
This Twitter account is added to the institution’s existing social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
