DLC opens call for ’16 summer internship program
de la Cruz & Associates is an integrated communications company established in Puerto Rico 30 years ago.
Integrated communications agency de la Cruz & Associates is seeking college student in their junior or senior years, or who are pursuing a Master’s Degree in communications, to participate in this year’s summer internship program aimed at providing a work experience to take their studies to the next level.
The program will run June 6-July 29, and will provide students an opportunity for academic growth that will help them direct their professional preferences. Participants will be able to practice in the areas of media, creative, account management, promotions, public relations, digital or accounting.
“Having experience is vital for a complete college preparation. It motivates us to give of our time, knowledge and experience to contribute to the professional growth of young people,” said Carlos Thompson, vice president and general manager of DLC.
The DLC internship program will provide tools necessary to perform the work in areas such as research and planning, conceptualization of ideas, writing for the media, creative development, teamwork and presentation techniques.
